Yummy lunch! Maybe the best wrap I've ever had. And we thought the fries were delicious!
Went with a party of 8 for a late lunch. The reuben was amazing and NOT soggy. Quite possibly the best I've had. The hot wings were saucy and crispy. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating especially with the 3 little kids we had. The others had burgers and thought they were delicious. Highly recommend.
The Shop Bar and Grill is a very popular establishment in the area. Upon my first attempted visit (with a group of people), it was so busy that we decided to dine elsewhere rather than wait for seating. That being said, on my second visit, I planned ahead and arrived earlier. The food is priced affordably, while being high quality, and tasting great! Our waitress was very attentive, without being overly present--she was great and personable! The establishment has several TVs with sports, a pool table, jukebox, and games. It should be noted that this is a cash-only establishment, so plan accordingly. They do however have an ATM machine on site.
We went for Friday Night Fish Fry and got there right at 5:30 and the place was packed. We had to wait a while for a table and they were busy but my kids were entertained and patient and the atmosphere was relaxed. We had a few happy hour beers (Happy Hour is from 4-6 on Fridays). Once we got seated we ordered appetizers and entrees. The cheese curds and onion rings were delicious! The apps came out quickly despite how busy they were. We also ordered walleye, cod and shrimp fish fry- all delicious. My kids got a pizza, and it was big enough for 3 kids to share. I would go back and try other items on the menu but glad to have found this Friday fish fry spot.

We were staying at the Heartwood for State Snowmobile meeting. Found this Gem of a Place to eat by just doing a search. WOW What a GR8 Meal!! Some of the LARGEST Best Tasting Shrimp We have EVER Eaten!! HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommended!! ***** Thank You!! BLS PS I took the pic after eating one of the shrimp! And No it is NOT a small Potato! It just looks small next to the HUGE Shrimp!!
The best place around to have great food and that up north atmosphere... fish fry on Friday is out of this world... try their burgers and pizzas... all the food is GREAT with fair prices. A shout out to Annette the best dam waitress ever and Tom the bartender that makes a bad ass Long Island Iced Tea... you 2 always make our experience memorable I am editing my review to include the unsung hero’s in the background that you don’t see... the cooks and clean up crew need praise... the crew is top notch and the need to be congratulated for their service. Thank you all!
